Just came across a review of a couple of our breakfast items (our Farmer's Hash and the Classic Bacon and Eggs) from the legendary food blogger Sherman, from Sherman's food adventures.. wanted to pass it along.
"Sexi Mexi had the Farmers Hash and it was massive. Underneath the perfectly fried ...

Ok. So first of all - friendly. Second of all - safe. And most importantly sincere and delicious. I have been working all through this pandemic and while I face emotional ups and downs in my line of work I always want the people that trust me to have a positive experience. I felt this way here today. Sanitizer / partitions/ masks and all. I feel obligated to support local and yesterday in this neighbourhood a business made me feel very unwelcome when I walked in. I felt at home here and plan to come back. Breakfast was simple, but prepared by an obvious egg artist. Thanks for being a safe and lovely part of five corners.

They close at 2 PM but anytime I'm in White Rock in the morning or early afternoon I try to stop by for brunch. Virtually unchanged since the 1950's, it's like a time machine back to the "good old days". Food is always good and staff are great. Prompt and friendly service. Never have to point to my coffee cup to get it refilled.

Old Skool all the way!

Five Corners Café, a little diner started in 1950 that still has most of the original look and feel of a fast-disappearing breed of restaurant. Family-owned by Catherine and her girls we are a locals' joint who likes to call our patrons and friends by name. Serving brekkie and lunch only, we strive for quality home-cooked food with many menu items made from scratch, including our handmade burgers, never frozen and topped with fresh ingredients.  We even serve real milkshakes using our original Mixmaster..  made from milk and ice cream and served with one of those old style tin cups alongside. A favourite for movie and tv series shoots including Psyche, Supernatural and Take Two among others who use our vintage look to make their scenes come alive. So drop in .. we'd love to meet you.. and if we get to know your name.. you'll be hearing it next time you walk through the doors.
